Katherine Obispo

A mother of two, Katherine has always been driven by a profound sense of responsibility toward young people who lack a safety net. Her background in management, real estate, and social services has equipped her with the skills to develop structured support systems for at-risk youth. Katherine’s passion stems from her belief that every young person deserves a safe place to live, regardless of their circumstances. Through Better Days Home for the Youth, she is creating that refuge—a place where students can focus on their education without the constant worry of housing insecurity.

Jorge Luis Montero

As an immigrant who arrived in the U.S. as a teenager, Jorge knows what it means to navigate uncertainty while striving for success. His experience growing up and seeing his peers struggle with housing instability inspired him to take action. Jorge has built his career in community outreach and education, always working toward solutions that uplift and empower those in need. He believes that no student should have to choose between their education and having a safe place to sleep, and Better Days Home for the Youth was founded to ensure they don’t have to.
